As a DevOps engineer, you will foster the development of new features in a SaaS solution that will transform the way businesses are steered for decades to come.

Job role

In this position, you will work with a small team of multidisciplinary developers that perform a wide range of tasks with an emphasis in web development. Don’t worry, we are not looking for tech savvies, but rather proactive people with great problem solving skills and a solid computer science foundation.

You will mainly interact with our systems, which are Debian servers in AWS with monolithic architectures running Flask over Apache. We embrace continuous integration, and we run automated tests using Github Actions. Since we automate all our DevOps processes to run smoothly unsupervised, you might also interact with our backend, which uses Python, Flask, Pandas, and MariaDB.

Requirements

To apply to this position, you must meet the following requirements:

  • BSc or MS in Computer Science or similar field.
  • Solid knowledge of DevOps tools and concepts (AWS, CI, SIEM, IPS) and Python.
  • Ability to communicate with the engineering team in English fluently.
  • Living in any of these timezones: GMT -1, GMT, GMT +1, GMT +2, GMT +3.

Experience on any of these fields will be highly valued:

  • Experience with information extraction tools (mainly Pandas and Selenium).
  • Python API backends, Flask preferred.
  • Good analytical and mathematical skills.
